Baby You're A Firework

I don't have a ton of time to write a full entry, but I just wanted to finish up my post-NYC trip round up by saying that the Katy Perry concert was everything I wanted and more. For one, the Barclays Centre has a great layout and sound, so that was awesome; but there were so many great costume changes, amazing visuals, lots of singing along, the Prismatic vision glasses made everything look like a kaleidoscope which was super bad ass, and Katy went on a giant balloon and was a few feet away from us and balloons and heart-shaped confetti rained on us from the ceiling and everything was perfect.

Also, Dakota Fanning walked out next to us, so that was cool.

It might seem silly for a bunch of 25-30 year olds to be so into a pop star, but a lot of my favourite moments with my friends involved us sing screaming along to Katy Perry, so to have the chance to all sit at the concert together and sing along in person was a really great experience.
